About Philip

First elected in 2019, Philip is your Member of Parliament from Northumberland–Clarke.

Prior to entering politics, Philip obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He practiced tax law before entering financial services, where he spent over ten years. Since being elected, he has served in multiple roles in the Conservative Shadow Cabinet, including as Shadow Minister for National Revenue, Shadow Minister for Federal Economic Development Agency for Eastern, Central and Southern Ontario, and Shadow Minister for Transport. He currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs and One Canadian Economy, Inter-Provincial Trade.

Philip and his wife Natasha live on a small farm near Orono, Ontario, where they are raising their two children, Margaret and James.
